The eyes of God are upon you
He sees you as you are
whether working close beside Him
or wandering somewhere far

all knowing He is wise
for nothing can escape His gaze
there’s nothing we disguise

as those eyes search with love
He’s looking to meet every need
with more grace from above

a heart will yield when one knows God
it’s soft and tender too
allowing God to be the Lord
governing all you do

as those perfect eyes fix on man
they see potential clear
for the future holds what God plans
if only one stays near

Jesus is looking at you now
can you return His gaze
